Re: WEEKEND CHATTY WEEKEND EDITION!!!

Living the simple life I sat down and watched this last night.

Rarely do you see a drummer playing with as much joy as Rick.

Rocket also has a cool chorus.

Re: So, racks. (DW, Gibraltar.)

It will be for when bringing everything. When the amount of regular hardware crosses into insanity and a rack makes more sense.

I haven't gotten the light hardware yet. Still thinking and also wondering if the regular 6000 might be a better choice than the UL version.

Re: WEEKEND CHATTY WEEKEND EDITION!!!

As much as I love most of Vinnie's playing I'm even more envious of the simple fact that he gets to play music like this with other people who enjoy to play it, too. I could do that all day. All my case info is made ready and sent out by next week, so well see what happens with that. Myself, I'm off...

Re: So, racks. (DW, Gibraltar.)

It was more of a when bringing everything to a gig thing. Keeping the hardware case a bit lighter and smaller. In the shed I'll always use stands, but they're heavy. This is why I'm looking into some lightweight stands for what is mostly low volume jazz and then something more practical when bringin...

Re: Lightweight hardware. (DW, Yamaha, Gibraltar, Tama.)

I'll probably just go with the DWs then. I see there are some new cymbal stands with short booms as well, so I might pick up a couple of those, too. I don't really have any super heavy snares. My 4160 is probably the heaviest one. Throwing one piece of regular weight hardware in the bag won't totall...

So, racks. (DW, Gibraltar.)

With looking for options when going light it's also time I just got around to putting together a rack. It'll keep my mind occupied and have me ready for something more practical at those times I want to bring everything and the kitchen sink. I don't know if there's any reason to choose one brand ove...

Lightweight hardware. (DW, Yamaha, Gibraltar, Tama.)

It's decided that there will a USA Custom in all sizes and 10,12,14,120 a Broadkaster at some point. Not determined exactly how that's happening yet, though. Either compensation, artist fund or a loan if I get more and steady work. We'll see. Day to day life is not dependant on that right now. It's ...
