Are the toms panned backwards for you on that? The right side FT is panned left for me unless my setup is wrong.

I always assumed it was just to make it physically easier. There's a direct correlation between ride height and % of shoulder required to use it.

Afrique is my favorite tune on there - a great example of the old 6/8 4/4 with the addition of 3/4 as well without sounding too mathy. Anthony Jackson and Dave play the coolest groove on the outro too.
