Re: Drummers Who Seemed to Dissapear.

According to his FB page Chad has been getting over some deep family stuff. I wish him the best!

It would be nice to hear Chester Thompson play some jazz again.
I really dig the Weather Report stuff he did.

Re: Drummers who *almost* "made it big"

Schmoozing has alot to do with success in the music industry. Kissing butt is one of the major ways an undeserving player can get work. I see it happen all the time. It's sickening.

Re: VINNIE - The thread about Colaiuta

Ray. How was the sound up there where you were sitting? I was pretty far back in the orchestra pit and the sound was horrible. No ghost notes or sublties. The bass was muddy and the drums sounded like they were mixed for a rock show. None of Vinnie's ghost notes or finesse were present from where I ...

Re: VINNIE - The thread about Colaiuta

I have an old computer so the lag was real bad. I still sat through it and enjoyed the performance thoroughly. It was worth the money spent . I will be there when they release the next episode. I hope the pirates and fools dont "steal" this video and repost for free. If I see any illegal p...

Re: Hello, again.

Peter.
I read your posts on Mr.Boomer's website. I'm so happy that everything worked out.
It was inspiring to read your accounts of the events surrounding your life for the past year and how you dealt with it all.
I wish you an ongoing recovery and the best of times.

Re: PHOTOS: Shannon Forrest's new drum kit with TOTO!

Shannon is SO killin' it!! I'm a big fan of how Simon took Toto and put his trademark stuff into the old songs, but this just hits home! I'm actually liking it better than with KC, who is a monster drummer, but this is a perfect fit. I'm certainly not the one trolling here.............................

Re: PHOTOS: Shannon Forrest's new drum kit with TOTO!

An excuse of why you don't contribute to the forum is just that. An excuse... Aching for an internet verbal war??????? I'd love to indulge you but I've set many fires here in the past, this is clearly an unimportant matter,I do not want to disrespect Steve H. Beside I'm too busy gigging these days t...

Re: PHOTOS: Shannon Forrest's new drum kit with TOTO!

That's why I myself, for example, have just refrained from making any comments whatsoever on the topic, because this gig is so heavy-weight that whatever I say is just going to look stupid. I mean, c'mon, whoever gets to play with TOTO must be doing very well for himself. All the best to Shannon! R...
