Re: MODERN DRUMMER FESTIVAL 2011 PREVIEW

I'm a sucker for drum DVDS so I always buy the MD Festival discs and I always enjoy at least SOME of the performances> With this set I'm particularly keen to see the John Riley section.

Frank Zappa had it right: Music. Is. The. Be...

Re: Greatest. Tour. Rider. Ever. (Dave Grohl)

I remember reading Randy Brecker's rider online a whie back and finding it most amusing. I just searched for it and found it here along with guitarist Martin Taylor's which is also excellent reading. http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?1686283-Martin-Taylor-and-Randy-Brecker-s-Concert...

A few that spring to mind: Learn to drive! Be nice. Say yes a lot. Keep records of all income/expenditure relating your music (tax purposes) Have the desire and work-ethic to improve continuously whilst remembering to actually enjoy your own playing in the present moment. The book that helped me the most when learning to set up and orchestrate figures big-band style was ...

Re: Vinnie Clinic London 1987 [audio]

Hi all. I've not tried to send a PM since the board changed but had a little trouble today - My message appears in outbox rather than sent messages. I know I'm probably overlooking something extremely obvious but as I've only been using the internet for.... oooh... about 12 years its all a bit new a...
