Re: amy winehouse died
I'm still devastated by this. Moved me to tears to be honest. Amy went to school with my niece, and lived in the same area of north london as me, so I feel a sort of connection in a strange way. Such a waste of talent, she wrote songs, played guitar and sang just great. She was a really beautiful gi...

Re: Please help me identify these tracks
Wow, track 1 brings back memories. Every second of it is just fantastic music. I couldn't place the album or artist, well done Deep Fried. But I could tell it's vinnie.

That was great. Really excellent interview.
That singer Ida Corr, I can't quite tell if her earrings are zildjian or sabian.

Most physically demanding gig?
Christ, no wonder pridgen has big muscles. This is totally not my kind of music, but it's amazing to see his relentless chopping for over 9 minutes. Unless you're super fit and/or just plain crazy like pridgen, I just can't imagine what kind of toll this would take on a drummer if a 2 hour show nigh...

Re: Zoom Q3 HD + gospelchops student
but where's the bottom half of his tie? :) Lol, you're not kidding, it's a bit laurel n hardy :D Nice playing and quality video! Is he playing long hours daily or just comes naturally for him? He's definitely a natural, plus he practises whenever he can between school hours, during lunch times, and...

Zoom Q3 HD + gospelchops student
Hi guys. This thread is about two things. The Zoom Q3 HD I bought, and 13 year old Stephen Asamoah Duah. I just bought this wonderful camcorder which is great for recording drums. It's HD 1080p @30fps, and 720 @60fps and 30fps. I'm amazed how high quality the mics are. I'm able to replace my old sch...

Some Chris Coleman
Love this guys playing. Gospel yes, but not your typical gospel player really, I'd place him more in the cobham/chambers camp probably. The groove and textures in Galatians is sublime. I'm really impressed with meinl cymbals, that raw bell ride and those hihats are gorgeous. Ride reminds me of my sp...

Re: Gergo Borlai at 2010 Meinl Drum Festival
I agree, it does cook better. Couple of subtle things I really like in the live version. Those two perfectly timed cymbal hits right at 3:08 coming out of that awesome fill. And a more relaxed ending at 3:30.

Gergo Borlai at 2010 Meinl Drum Festival
Hi guys. I haven't been here for ages! Hope you're all well. Ok, we all know Gergo is amazing, but seriously, I think he stepped his game up another 600 gears. I don't know if these have been posted, but this solo is both unbelievable and incredible. So much so, I call it, er, Unbeledible. His ghost...

I've been playing Formula 1 2010, and when I recently looked at the leaderboard for a particular track I'm running (I'm Merlin5) look what I saw below.
Nice new forum btw Steve, congrats!
