So back on topic ......I hope this next MD will have some tasty VC transcriptions. The transcriptions are always great to work on. Went down to the local bookstore and the VC issue was gone, replaced by a Buddy issue. So, did it have transcriptions? There are a couple of other places I could try to...

Yep I agree - I started playing Yamaha / Zildjian Vinnie, Weckl and Erskine did but I still do because I love them. But that's partly what I was trying to say - that's all endorsement related, not advert related... When I started, we played Zildjian because that's all there was. I never saw K's eit...

There was a related discussion on this topic on "Another Forum." A guy who is normally all about Gretsch added a Yamaha kit to get a different sound. If you already have "that great Gretsch sound," I wouldn't trade the Yamaha. That and $1.50 will buy a cup of coffee in most place...

Once I saw a comic book / cartoon version of the "Bus Tapes." Buddy's rant transcribed with pictures. Priceless.
