Re: Standard or "Power" sizes?

Back in the 90s..."Power Sizes" were the same dimensions both ways... 8x8, 10x10, 12x12, 13x13etc. During that time it was actually hard to find "standard size" like a 8x12, 9x13, 10x14 in new drumsets. They have made/are making a comeback. 8x10, 10x12, 11x13, 12x14 have become t...

Re: Check out the track I recorded recently!

Willy... I like that you did your thing on this tune. You apparently played like you wanted to play the tune...awesome. We all want to play like someone else. Keep searching for "you"...and if that gets you the gig, rock it up...if not, keep finding what you need. The criticiscm here will ...

Re: Hey Gavin Harrison, how did you like NAMM?

Hi Rob yes NAMM was pretty intense and I got a bad case of NAMM-thrax. I got very ill by the second day - I guess I shook hands with too many folks...and I was only there for 2 days. I met a lot of nice people and I was thrilled to meet Steve Schaeffer (one of my childhood favourites) and it turns ...

Hey Gavin Harrison, how did you like NAMM?

Hey Gavin... There are several videos on YouTube being the consumate salesman with your signature snare. I used to work for Paiste, then Pearl...but I haven't been to a NAMM Show since 1991. I still have the headache and aching feet just thinking about it! I would love to know how you liked playing ...

Re: GAVIN HARRISON - Showing some NEW material

I have pre-ordered this new set from Porcupine Tree...looking forward to seeing it since I missed going to the live show (had a gig come up).

And really looking forward to see what's coming up for PT...sounds like it might be a while, though.

Re: We are very lucky...

Ah Ha! Willy... Welcome to the club. You just described the band I play with. We talk about this at nearly...no wait....EVERY GIG. Especially during less-than-ideal situations of rough load-ins (no roadies), outdoors with tough weather, drunk people, requests for Brown-Eyed Girl...twice, etc... Nuth...
