I saw Th e Police reunion in London in September 2007. Stewart's playing left me less than inspired, it was like he was out of shape, he kept stopping and starting.
You know what I'd prefer? Vinnie from 20 years ago playing Police tunes!

Wow, just yesterday I finished rebuilding a Yamaha 14 x 5 copper shell snare that I found in a shop in Leeds, UK in a really bad way. The lugs needed replacing as well as the heads and the snares, it sounds amazing. It's the original seamless copper shell. The only other drum I would want is the Roy...

The Yamaha site says it's discontinued...but Memphis Drum Shop says they have one (or more).. I didn't get a snare drum to match, that's my late 80's Pearl Custom Classic. There is a Oak Custom 14 x 5.5 in the same finish near by if I really need to get one quick.
