Re: Official Virgil Donati thread

20 minute montage from a gig with Holdsworth/Haslip/Donati at Fabrik in Hamburg, Germany.

Re: Herbie Hancock (with Vinnie) • 2012

I really appreciate the sharing but I couldn't stand listening to this for more than a minute. The sound quality was too bad. Well he did warn you! Regarding the last video, yes, not the first 5, but as I said, I appreciate the sharing nonetheless. I personally just have a hard time listening to mo...

Re: iPhone Tech Question - Bad Sound Quality

I haven't noticed a drastically poor performance on my iPhone 4S, when using earphones/headphones.
But then, I didn't expect an audiophile experience neither. I try to stay clear from the very low bit rates
when putting music in iTunes.

Re: Completely OT: Gorecki - Symphony of Sorrowful Songs

I know it's a stretch. No drums at all in this piece, but it's music and we have a musically attuned group here. I just heard this piece tonight and it's killing me. Gorecki, Symphony No. 3. Wow. F#ckin' A. Discuss. The top of my head is missing at this point. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVITZUQ...

Re: What is S.O.P.A ?

Let's not so easily forget it wasn't that long ago a bunch of gun happy American's had to go over and save Europes ass. If not for the US, all of Europe would be speaking German. Don't lecture me on history. My grandfather fought the Nazis and I have his old ID card in my living room, reminding me ...

Re: What is S.O.P.A ?

I see Morgenthalers point, sort of, with his break down of tools of defense that are accesible, but when we take the words off the paper and put them into play in real life things change. Sure if we all only had our fists, the world would be full of split lips and black eyes and nothing else. Good ...

Re: What is S.O.P.A ?

Sorry have to disagree. I am a regular citizen and I do not kill people. Seriously? It's not about you and me. It's about tendencies and statistics in different western societies. -- The issue is not whether citizens "attempt to gravely harm someone else". The issue is "when you feel...
