Re: Erskine w Krall snare drum ?

Thanks guys, a good memory helps, I saw that post when it was written.
And I really like that snare too! :-)

Re: Left side chinas?

Interesting discussions, thanks for all good comments! You inspired me :-) and I found a new 22" fx Oriental China Trash that's been sitting in a local store for a long time. It's a bit disharmonic but definitely no clunker. They had a 20" as well, the 22" is lower in pitch. I'm somet...

Re: Yamaha Birch Custom Absolute Nouveau T-rods and lugs

From Gadd's website: ...His Clapton kit comprises 22x14 Maple Custom Absolute bass, 12x8 and 13x9 hanging, and 14x12 and 16x14 floor-mounted Birch Custom Absolute toms. Source: http://www.drstevegadd.com/setup.html That is wrong, it's a Maple Custom, not a Maple Custom Absolute. See for example htt...

Re: Yamaha Birch Custom Absolute Nouveau T-rods and lugs

One of the advantages of the Absolute series is you can get the birch toms with a maple bass drum and the finishes will match. That's Gadd's configuration. Don't want to be picky here but Gadd has a Maple Custom bass drum (discontinued), not a Maple Custom Absolute :-) Now, what is the difference b...
