Re: Getting through (u.s.) airport security with gear...
Went through LAX with my snare stand, 12" pad, full stick bag (with Regal Tip brushes), Speed Cobra Dbl Pedal in a tama hardcase (checked), and a gibralter bass drum practice pad/stand, without any issues to mention. Not relavent, but I would add that I opted out of the body scanner and took th...

Re: PolyNome: drummer's metronome app -- NOW AVAILABLE
There was a slight learning curve but over all pretty easy to figure out. The possibilities with this are really intense. I'm convinced that for 99 cents this app is about the best thing i'll get all Christmas other than seeing my family. Really glad you're enjoying it, thanks for picking it up. We...

Re: Vinnie clinic in Chicago.
I was pretty blown away when Vinnie casually discussed and demonstrated quintuplet based, over the bar line, fills. I can't wait to try some of that on the next gig.

Re: New never-before seen Vinnie footage
Wow...its a heavy clip that is causing some heavy forum chatter. I do enjoy it though because I learn from hearing conflicting thoughts on a subject. I can find the middle ground and keep pushing forward without limiting myself or becoming too negative. Steve, do you have something in mind for the n...

Re: PolyNome: drummer's metronome app -- NOW AVAILABLE
Full Pyramid @ 800bpm is pretty awesome! I'm really digging it though. Its going to be a huge help for me in so many ways while I work at developing my voice on the kit. I needed a metronome that could do 1 bar on 1 bar off, 2 bars on 2 bars off, and this will do that and more. There was a slight le...

Re: Ari Hoenig Digestion Suggestions
The title of this thread always cracks me up. I have always wanted to post this as a response; "Use plenty of seasoning. Goes well with milk." That is so wrong! lmao

I've been working out of Virgil's book and also highly recommend it.
