This drum was not a business venture, but an artistic one, with the notion of doing something that has never been done before. There ya have it...art and business don't always come together nicely. That said, I am all for pushing boundaries and this snare, albeit high in price today will come down ...

This is quite possibly the most influential music to my early drumming as a kid. There were two themes and the second w/t voice into is better imo...most aggressive playing. Went to Hoboken last night...what a hole...parking IMPOSSIBLE to find! I drove for an hour trying to find a place to park...narrow one-way streets... crazy. Cousin plays lead guitar in a cover rock band...heading upstate NY to some Roadhouse type place w/my cuz for some hang time...try to figure out...

That TV show in particular had a lot of open space... they are showing runs now on cable...would never have a production like this today...long shots w/ no editing or dialogue...just music to fill the time and it usually is snare and hats...very tasty drumming. Lalo did the theme, but probably Joe P...
