These Latin guys got something special.
He seems to hold his sticks so lightly.
I'm starting to dig the white coated heads again.
Youtube is amazing! What a different world

Re: WECKL - RECENT CLINIC VIDEO
I usually do not dig Dave's solos from a pure emotional perspective, but this one had more space to breath. His cymbals, especially the crash above the hats are almost perfect in tone for me. Crafting a great solo is more about composition than blowing imo. Funny how this topic of composition rarely...

Re: It's decided I QUIT !!!
Pretty amazing...gotta love the Rosanna intro. I think of Tony Royster Jr back in the day...he was THE drum whiz kid. Speculation to his progression and maturity was rampant. Then there was the "Tower of Inspiration" kid on Carson. One strong thread around these kids is a significant fathe...

Vinnie playing "Less is best..."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14xSMR8iteo I dig Vinnie for all the obvious reasons...but this intro is what really does it for me. Hey...I'm Pocketplayer right? The groove on this song makes for repeated listening. Some of my favorite Vinnieisms are found on his pop recordings like SheDaisy, Wang ...
