In my book, you simply cannot beat a shuffle with a good old walking bass line, especially with a Hammond wailing away....swings like a swingy thing on a swing. Nice to see Dave grooving with a backbeat, too -very refreshing.

Re: Gregg Bissonette

* I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M ABOUT TO ARGUE ON THE INTERNET - WHAT A ROAD TO NOWHERE * I just have to say my piece here, no idea what the purpose of debate is, I won't change anybody's mind and nobody will change mine. Gregg is my absolute hero. He has, personally, helped me more than any other musician I...

I doubt very much that he would have...

Re: VINNIE - Vintage videos...OK or not vintage.

I imagine this has already been flagged, but I was floored by Vinnie's ferocity in this clip...watch the sax player's reaction at around 2:26 - 2:32

Re: Must watch inspirational video!

Good on Mike. If he has inspired just one person to play the drums and live a lifetime enjoying our instrument, my hat is off to him. I'm sure there are several people here who would like to make the six figure income per year Mike makes through playing their instrument. There is room for everyone ...
