I'm a sucker for drum DVDS so I always buy the MD Festival discs and I always enjoy at least SOME of the performances> With this set I'm particularly keen to see the John Riley section.

A few that spring to mind: Learn to drive! Be nice. Say yes a lot. Keep records of all income/expenditure relating your music (tax purposes) Have the desire and work-ethic to improve continuously whilst remembering to actually enjoy your own playing in the present moment. The Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band play-along is very good, I've also used the Irv Cottler Under My Skins book with some students but if I remember rightly the backing tracks do not have a count in (!)
