Re: Novak playing The Chicken

I have to disagree about the bass player :) I saw Reggie few years ago it was just crazy. He's got feel, groove, solid time and taste.
I think they were just jamming something similar to Chicken and played loosely around that. I liked it a lot.

Re: YouTube Musicians

Here's a drum cam video from a musical I'm currently playing. I have Roland SPD-S on my left for the percussion loops (6 loops total). It made the coordination a little harder...Drums are Brady Spotted Gums and I think they sound lovely.

Re: YouTube Musicians

Nice snare sound (and nice playing) Kaide. Is that a Brady? Thanks for compliments! Yes the snare is Brady Spotted Gum 14x6,5 which I won in their christmas giveaway 2009. That led to buying whole Brady Spotted Gum set and couple snares but I have to praise their sound, it's the best kit I've ever ...

Re: YouTube Musicians

Hello everybody!
This is my first YouTube video, practising some David Garibaldi stuff. There might a couple bars in the middle ok but it's quite hard groove.
Anyway here it is:

If you have any comments I'd be glad to hear those.

Re: Drum Tech DTS Tuners

I have 1 set of those and they helped me also with bottom/top head pitch relations. They don't work with diecast hoops but with triple flanged they are ok. I only used those for bottom heads to find out different tunings for various drums, wrote the pitches to paper and tuned the drums to those pitc...

Re: YAMAHA 15" JR Snare.

Gongratulations!

I have same snare and it just barely fits to Hardcase 14" x 5,5" case. And I have also stored it in softcase (unbranded) so some brands might work also but I don't think Protection Racket is big enough...

Re: Vinnie back with Beck on the current European dates?

Yeah Vinnie was supposed to be with Herbie last thursday in Finland but they had Trevor Lawrence Jr. subbing him so....I guess he don't like Scandinavia or he had better gigs.?
