Re: From drums to guitar
I've been playing the bass (guitar) for the past 3 years years and have a good grasp on it thanks to playing the skins. Starting to solo on it now. Getting different sounds. I hate being on this train. I want a better amp and bass guitar. Problem is drum shit comes first.

Re: LIVE FAKES - Listened but not played live
Rush has been triggering background vocals, keyboards and others sounds live. Geddy triggers lots of sounds via keyboard or foot pedals. they have been doing that for decades. Their fans don't have a problem with it. Don't want to see two to three background singers or two keyboard players with them...

Re: IDRUM magazine
Listened to some of the interview with Mike J. He means well I guess. Kind of surprised they had him play at the Mienl festival. It's intermediate playing at best. People go to these things to be some what wowed. Nothing going on in his performance. Kind of made makes ya cringe. He seemed to be very...

Re: 20 Years today - remembering Jeff Porcaro
He's definitely missed. His grooves still live on. Not to many drummers have the legacy Jeff did. He made the music feel great. Gonna go listen to Kingdom of Desire tonight. Glad Luke sang lead on that record. Great voice. Anyone know how his brother Steve is doing. He has ALS. I love this HOD forum...

Taylor and Joe sound great together. Spot on vocals. They both have great tone.

Re: Tony Royster Jr.
Was over my buddies house today. He has a full blown $80,000 studio in his basement. After I recorded a tune on drums for him (for free) he played this new Joss Stone Soul Sessions 2 album for listening pleasure. Good music. Drums are Very stiff. No grease. nice ideas and execution. She sings great....
