I remember I once asked Simon Phillips why his cymbal sound on the track "The Golden Road" sounded differently to the rest of the "There and Back" CD with Jeff Beck, and he said it was that the track was recorded at a different time, and he was experimenting and using Paiste for ...

Whatever Paiste's he's playing in the Sting vids sound very thin to me - not digging it at all - I think the A Customs/K Customs he played were much fuller sounding. Got tickets for my birthday for a festival show in June here in Oslo (the Norwegian Wood festival) in which the guys will be playing! Can´t wait to see Vinnie play again. But I will keep my video camera at home!!
