I searched the forum and found one little mention of this site in a reply from a few months back. Thought it should get a little more mention as it appears to be a good resource for some inspiration. Gary Novak, KJ Sawka and others involved. Even the free stuff has some great vids, all with transcriptions, and full and half speed videos.

I've been a subscriber for a while now and the concept is great and the licks are great. it feels like there needs to be more to it though. I'd pay a lot more if there were monthly 'actual lessons' from Gary. The sample videos are an example of the type of content on the site: it's guys blowing phrases and then transcriptions of said phrases (most of the time). It's great for those who just want to learn those types of licks, but I guess I'd like to know the 'genesis' of those licks. I could probably figure it out by analyzing the transcriptions, but having a video of someone explaining it would be better.

Then again, if I had to guess, guys like Novak don't think about it while they're doing it; it just comes out. So, trying to explain that would be extremely hard. It's a great site, dont get me wrong. I'd pay 20 a month if there were actual lessons though.

Thanks for the insight Des, good to hear a review from someone who has subscribed. Have their been lessons added each month since you started $ ?

I wouldn't say every month, there's new content on Gary's page about every 2 mos. There's almost 60 licks on his page alone.
