If posted...my bad. Searched the entire "JoJo HOD archives" and didn't see this vid.
Music is not my thang...but, JoJo is!
How fortunate is Sonor that two of the greatest players on the planet dig their gear!

Oh God, how I love this music! Actually some other of Jojo's vids made me buy all the Nerve stuff off their Bandcamp. Such an incredible player! You've got to love Janek's bass sound too. Out of this world!

Yeah...this i do not get at all. I respect it (Jojo wouldn't be playing with a novice right)
but this "sound" is alien to me. I do like the name Janek tho...kinda cool.
I met Jojo w/Steve Smith at an OLD NAMM show...no clue who he was (hair was much more tame
than now...dig the freedom he has to let it go...could be my brother from another mother if I had
the same freedom).
Again, if he was hangin' w/Smith and being endorsed by same Co...he had to be good. It was years
later I found out what a monster he was. Crazy skill level, super intelligent, very
interesting personality imo.

I'm into electronic struff, a lot! That's why I don't think a "conventionally" sounding bass would work here. Not by a long shot. The genre they play is a different idiom from other instrumental music so certain conventions have to be adhered to. And they do it so beautifully! To me it's a twist on the bass sound as we know it and I love it.
On a side note, Janek is short for Jan which is Polish for John. Apparently his dad's family were Polish.
Thanks for sharing the vid!

Re: Crazy JoJo NAMM Footage
I can't imagine anyone playing at the top of their game like Jojo...I mean, the dude's name is Jojo.
He looks like a cool hip cat, his name is cool, and his playing off the wall. I hate this music, but I
love Jojo's playing. Does anyone have facility so perfectly applied to a genre of music than Jojo?
Serious (no, ridiculous chops) musically applied to perfection imo in that above clip. Dang.
That was Jungle Porn. The bell at :52 and doubles into singles at :58 like the crazy hot chick I saw
at LAX the other night at the Delta terminal. Just had to turn the car off and take a deep breath.

I'm going to have to go with Pocketplayer on this one. Of course, to be fair, I'm only going by the way it sounds.
