A musician friend just the other day started a discussion about Alphonse. I pulled up some Mind Transplant, that record has some of the grooviest, cleanest playing plus some serious firepower on his fills. Tommy Bolin is all over that record, the tunes are jams. Legend!

No doubt about the power and historical significance of Mind Transplant!

Mind Transplant turned my head around. So many unique sounds coming from it, vital.

Golden Rainbows...where is that snare and hat sound today? Oh mama, those hats are so fluffy!
This should be required listening in every high school as soon as they get a class titled,
History of music into the modern era as part of the Common Core...you want to get
a common core...well, try music! no brainer... This stuff is epic! Only problem half way
through this LP some weed will be sparked up in class causing the district to stop the class
and go back to learning things 90% of students will forget a day after the test.
