I bought Pearl Ferrone snare around year 2000 and I still use it often. It's a really good snare and works great with Remo CS.

Thank you Kaide. I'll be getting it then. Especially with it being the "original" SF snare. Gretsch did a signature snare for him which is a very close copy.
