To me racks and floors are favorite instruments out of the entire drumkit, maybe even on a par with the snare, but I'm surprised how overlooked they are by gig engineers. He plays the top line of the best drumkits in the world but with this mixing the only difference in tom sound we hear is the pitch. Correct me if I'm wrong but, at least when it comes to the UK, whether it was one of my gigs or something big I felt like there's not too much attention paid to the toms. My 2 cents.
