I'm a huge fan of Dennis and I was also disappointed because his feel was shaky during the solo sections at times. But, even for an off night he was still unique and brought his own style to the table (as he always does). I did enjoy it more the second time I watched it. I liked all of his phrasing ideas but felt like he could have added depth by mixing up the rate of his ideas more.

I'm biting my tongue in regards to Copeland's solo.

Did Anton do a solo at the start of this second week, and if so , where can it be seen?

The 'aright' meter is pegged in this one.

YES! How can you have a drum solo week without the Professor? It's just not right!

I like Dennis the accompanist much more than Dennis the soloist. But that pocket is still HUGE and for Cissy Strut that feel was perfect. Nothing but love.

I think that Dennis song choice is not the appropiate.
I like the tune, but in my opinion it hasn´t got the right character for this type of show.

I think Caravan is a good choice, and the kitchen too.
EDIT: The kitchen is The Chicken.

One last word on the DS week...

Where was Gadd?

Isn't he the obvious choice?

That's exactly what I thought as well. Not my favorite DC solo but always nice to see him play.

Yes, Henry... of course.
Thanks.
