Does he have any good quality recording? the typical cam on rehearsal room is not enough to judge.

I have a feeling this might be a case of the old "if you have to ask, you'll never know", but to those who are interested, check out Zach on Omar Rodriguez Lopez' "Cryptomnesia" or on Hella's albums. They're on Spotify:

http://open.spotify.com/album/0yhVoWxyFn3cP2G9fIfQT1

http://open.spotify.com/artist/1n861RIk6CTAWncgHR9UHg

Omar's album, at least, has more of the production values that most of us are used to. However, if you're not to attracted to Zach's particular aesthetic from what's already available in this thread, I'm not sure this will change your mind. Hopefully though, you'll think his drumming fits the music and discover a cool new album!

That music doesn't do anything for me. As for his drumming, playing aside, his drums sound horrible in every single clip. Not just bad, but HORRIBLE. That says a lot.

Fair enough. Did you check out the Omar Rodriguez Lopez Spotify link?

I got this error on the spotify links:

"Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (spotify) isn't associated with any program."

Maybe I need their plugin or something?

And yes, his drums sound like butt. Just horrible. Going ape sh*t on a kit doesn't mean much, particularly when it lacks groove or even time for that matter. This somewhat interesting trend of just "noise" music is just that.

See, now, I appreciate that he's in his 20's and crazy. That's a good thing. And he's got fast singles and combos. I could not have played anything like that at his age. And crazy is a good thing. Accepting all of that: Give me the gospel chops guys. Give them to me now. All of them. They are way more subtle.
