Left side chinas?

I use a Paiste Sign 16" thin China. I use it mainly for accents and not so much for playing ride patterns. Altough I can use it that way when playing the cymbal at the part were the curve starts... The only thing it lacks is volume. I might check out the 18" someday....

I've had an 18" A Swish on my kit forever (since mid 70's). I use it on the right side since it's often used as a ride. Some years ago I thought about adding a left side but opted to put a 15" Azuka crash (w/3 rivets) there. I often pair it with an 11" Oriental Trash Splash piggybacked upside-down. This allows me a lot of effect options. I was recently looking at an 18" A Custom Rezo Pang as an alternate on the left. I always preferred the old swish and pang cymbals...must be the old guy in me.

22" A Swish Knocker on my left. Much like has been said before, if I have it on my right, I tend to overuse it for my taste. If I'm playing a rare big band gig, however, I'll put it to the right of the ride Mel Lewis style and ride & crash that damn thing all night.
I first got the idea from Bissonette on the tape one of the Buddy Rich Memorials (he had one on the right AND left). Then, I got tape 2 with Vinnie and was convinced. Had to mow a lot of lawns that year. Remember that those tapes were like 50 bucks a piece?! Not very cheap for 12 year old boy monetary standards. Still have an 18" Wuhan that I'll throw up every now and again with a pro mark rattler that makes a nice obnoxious sound. On the left, natch.
