I heard about this because a local bassist here who plays in one of my previous bands got the gig. He has a nice relaxed and locked groove.
Also two brothers from Montreal were finalists to personify Freddie Mercury and one of them got the gig (I guess they'll keep the bro as a sub).
Marc is very good and looks a bit like Freddie. He had some 5M+ views of his YT audition and sang at the Ellen show.

And the guitarist is from Toronto (so much talent around here... ). Drummers are a bit weak IMO, but they were looking for a rock guy (with backing vocals ability as a plus).

It's produced by Roger Taylor and Queen's management. The final was last week in LA at Foo Fighters studio.
