There's nothing so disrespectful than wanting greatness but unwilling to pay for it!
Vinnie can charge whatever he wants at this stage of his career...anyone that even
suggests otherwise is a fool sucked into a culture of, "I want it for free!" We live in
a cheap ass .99 cent store culture, let me act like a fool standing in a line to save
a few bucks and boast about it. Consumer greed fueled by Internet instant gratification.
Free college, free books, free everything BS. How many times has VC had to deal with
some cat saying, "Ahhh, thanks, we'll just use a drum machine instead!"

You can kick the tires on a Honda Accord, but when a Ferrari pulls onto the lot you just
say, "OK...if I can just sit in the driver's seat I'm happy!" Those who cannot tell the difference
between the two just need to take their meds and go home quietly.

That was better than Star Wars! Pelton is great.
Italian bakery I hope! What makes this great is according
to that article, in the end, VC saves you cash because of
his INSANE efficiency. Imagine if VC played games and
knew he could nail it first take, but blew off a few to
earn some more dough. Can't do it because his greatness
and integrity go hand in hand. The pauses have a Simpsons'
quality...that was just funny Paul! Episode two forthcoming I hope.

Setting: Baked Potato
Camera pans in slowly to Jazz Ministry gig, VC turning a bright
colored red as he stares down a fan with a video camera.
He finished the song and reaches behind him than reconsiders...
grabs a smoke and the band starts the next song.

A few measures into the tune, VC drops a stick, reaches behind him
and stops the gig..."Fire explodes out of his nostrils at the guy with
camera." The guy says, "OUCH...that hurt Vinnie!" (in a wimpy voice)

Band kicks in again...they play great, VC is on fire musically, nails the
final crash cymbal and stand up. Takes a deep breath and pulls out
an AK-47 designed like a pair of Vic Firth SVC Signature Model and proceeds
to mow the guy down and any of his friends who were part of this blasphemy.

VC lights up a smoke from the guy's burning head and says, "Anyone know where
the head is?" and walks off.

Netflix will order at least 10 episodes for sure!

While on the subject of VC...

There are remarkably few drummers on the planet who can, while playing at the (frighteningly high!) level of technical kill and rhythmic complexity that Vinnie plays, still say something of utmost relevance, meaning, and depth - musically speaking.

Vinnie is certainly one of those drummers...perhaps the definitive example. :)
