Just moments ago during the live chat with John DeChristopher Vinnie announced that his new signature sticks are coming soon. Details will be disclosed soon... Anything close to his old Z's will suffice :D

Hopefully, they get it right.

Will be interesting to see who's making them.

I would tend to agree with bored at work...most of the recent videos I've seen have Vinnie playing the Promark FireGrains.

Dark horse possibility: Innovative Percussion. They've been making a big push to get "name" players to use their sticks. They're based in Nashville, so a lot of the players there use them.
When in doubt...roll.

Seen him with the black Activegrip Pro Marks, not the Firegrains, but that's a good while ago. I have both in in both Forward and Rebound models. My take on that is that both are too extreme and there should be a middle ground option available. Yes, the old Vinnie sticks are shoulder heavy, but not that much.

Seems like he's been using those sharper cone tips of the old jazzers for a while.

Anyway. I just signed up for this.
