"Avenue D" could be my favorite track, or "Crestline", but at end I think that "Secrets" could be the one. :D
So many good tracks, I don't know...

"Crestline" is one of my favourite Vinne/John Patitucci Track...when the track breaks down to just bass at 2:29 and the subsequent berserk build-up is amazing. He might not be playing THE craziest stuff on this track, but the energy and the music makes it probably my favourite IF I had to choose one.

But indeed...too many tracks, I'd hate to have to choose just one.

I hadn't seen this video before:

I'd think not. There is a good deal of sophisticated playing going on in that clip. Granted, it should probably be considered a crime for any artist to attempt to cover Lennon's classic in such a manner. But that aside, I would hardly consider what was being played on that stage as equal to what we normally deem as typical Muzak.

I tried to found out why they chose this song, but there wasn't much to be found. I assume that they played this song in this arrangement for some reason. But I have some mixed feelings musically, like Baht Habit wrote as well. Yet I watched some awesome playing. I love the Wilkenfield / Colaiuta rhythm section. And one sick fill at the end.... ;-)

EDIT: going through Youtube, searching for "VC's latest additions , I came across the "extended version" from Umbria 2010:

They are really cutting corners on the harmonies.
This to me sounds more like a high school band than A-list musicians.

From 4:08 to 4:15 in DOLINSKI'S first vid here is why Vinnie cannot be touched by any other player ever.
