Slightly OT to drums, but since we've been talking recording and mixing setups:
I hadn't run Studio Manager since I upgraded to OS X Lion until the other day. Surprise, the USB-MIDI driver doesn't seem to play nicely: I get a "Cannot access to a driver" (sic) message when opening the preference pane. This seems to fly in the face of info on Yamaha's page that 10.7.2 is in fact supported.
Anyone else out there had any luck? I can always run the PC version through VMWare, but mac support seems like something they might have a vested interest in fixing.
Hoping I'm just doing something wrong.

* [Caution] As of Oct. 20th, 2011, we confirm that Studio Manager Host and every editors which run on Studio Manager Host don't work correctly on Mac OS 10.7.2. Please do NOT UPGRADE to 10.7.2 for a while before the countermeasure will be provided.
Yamaha are not very quick with upgrades

Yes, but that message is about the Studio Manager Host and the editors. The problem I'm having is with the MIDI driver, SM and editors work fine.
