I´ve made a tutorial about how to configurate some patterns that combine CLICK+SILENCE with TEMPO and TEMPO ADVANCE apps.
In case you haven´t got an Iphone (or Ipad), they can be designed in your computer, sequencer, etc…as most of you already know.
The patterns created use the click combined with 1 - 8 bars of silence.
Hope you find it useful.
Of course, open topic for this matter: timing, practicing with the click…

You can do this really easily in PolyNome. We even put it as a preset. Here's me demonstrating it pretty badly
You can type your own rates into the list so you can have as many bars of silence as you want. And the bars of click can be played as 8th notes, 1/4 notes or you could just have a click on the downbeat.
Check out the other cool stuff you can do with PolyNome here:
Lots of new features are already in development for the next version...

Re: TIMING EXERCISES - Iphone users...or not.
Hi Joe,
I downloaded Polynome as soon it was available (literally).
One thing I miss is that when you select the TIME CHECK preset, it has the sounds/accents/levels of the Click/Count data from the previous pattern you have playing.
I would like to hit TIME CHECK and it was just there (silence on the silence parts), without having to change the levels of the click and count parts.
Maybe I am missing something ??
(Joe, no competition here between apps...Both apps complement each other.
And congratulations for the Polynome work).

Re: TIMING EXERCISES - Iphone users...or not.
Thanks for buying PolyNome. I'm glad you like it.
We have lots of features planned for the next major version including the ability to save presets. Time Check will probably become one of those presets so it'll be able to mute the click volume and turn off the weird accents and things. We're working hard to make sure it's a very useable interface.
I still use Tempo and Tempo Advance for counting off gigs. Great apps. We're aiming to make PolyNome something that could do that too - I'd love it to be an all in one solution.
Cheers,
Joe

Hey Chris,
I tried to incorporate an armv6 (the older architecture) build in the version that's releasing in a day or two, but I had no real way of testing it except the simulator. Give that a shot when it comes out and let me know how it goes?
