Was listening to Headhunters today and, not having heard it in a long time, was struck by how great Harvey Mason is on that album. Decided to see what was on't tube and found these gems:

He's obviously a legend, and what he did with The Headhunters was future text book,

Great clips of Harvey Mason!
I first heard of him when I was a kid back in the mid 1970s - first heard him on Lee Ritenour's Captain Fingers - album and the song Captain Fingers had blown me away. Very funky drumming. I enjoyed hearing him ever since then.
