I predict a signature offering by NAMM 2013, if not sooner.

^^^ Those Ludwig and Paiste news are old news now.
What is important now is that he's using Nissan vehicles.

Yes. That vehicle partially showed in the last picture says it all.
Could someone zoom the picture and tell me the tires brand?
(I'm out of town and it's difficult with my iphone)

I still have my old Ludwig chrome snare from 35 years ago. Was always a dependable sounding snare. I remember Ludwigs were really popular 35 years ago when I used to frequent Mel Zelnicks music stop. I think Mel sold Slingerland and Ludwigs mostly.

Anybody know anything about who makes Ludwigs shells? How their made? Etc.

Kinda surprised to see Vince go with Paiste. But to each his own. I doubt he'll be getting rid of any of the other brand name stuff irregardless of who he's with now. When you like something, you like it.

Are Paistes still all stamped out? Do they make machined or hand hammered cymbals like Sabian and Zild?

Its always fun to go out and try everything everyone else has to offer.....AND have the money to buy what you want. I'd love to find a drum like the PHX's from another company that someone could afford. Maybe make them in China where you can pay someone 35 cents a day to work.....WHOOPS!! Hopefully no Yamaha spies frequent this site, I might have just given them an idea.
