Thanks Todd.

WA...where? Near Seattle now.

Love that quick double kick at :13 of the clip...tasty.

Tommy Shaw is ageless...his vocals are amazing.
When I get that, "Man...I wish I could sing like..."
feeling, Shaw is always in that day dream.

I love his acoustic tour he did at the bookstores...
great stuff and shows how humble he is still willing
to meet and greet at the smallest of venues.

It seems Styx gives you a lot of room to explore the original parts.
If you were to be totally honest, doesn't it get really boring playing
these songs the same way night in and year out w/o trying different
phrasings and compositions?

I saw these guys in Roanoke Rapids, NC 2-3 years ago. They were awesome and they actually had to play in an unorthodox way that night: JY was at the hospital, as I believe his wife was ill at the time. So, not only did Todd play amazing drums that night, he also sang back up! I met him after the show; what a gracious and humble human being. Really refreshing to see such a monster player have a very pleasant attitude and personality. My wife became a big Styx fan that night! I will definitely pick up this dvd!

Pocket--

Yeah, Seattle tonight (Feb 3 Emerald Queen) then Vancouver tomorrow night. You're correct about Tommy. He's a bad ass, and I'm proud that he's "my singer."

Snow-

Thanks!

Hope you guys dig the dvd if you check it out.

Cheers from Tacoma at present-

I've got it on order, and I can't wait. Love Styx and adore Todd's drumming.

Chuck Panozzo comes out for a few tunes here and there. guess he doesn't like the full time rock gig.

Hey Kurtis,

Chuck comes out from time to time. If you read up on him, it's pretty incredible. He's cheated death 3 times and isn't healthy (strong) enough to do it full time, or full shows. It's not a matter of liking it or not!

Cheers,
Todd

What ever became of the woman on the "Pieces of Eight" album cover anyway?

Good question!

No idea. That was Storm Thorgerson's design (of Pink Floyd album cover fame). Storm also did the cover of our Cyclorama CD in 2003. But good question!
