Not sure what exactly happens here but If that's his new pedal falling off the hoop that's very bad.

I saw it at MIAC... great design,... the self clamping thing needs adjustment to begin with,, as there are different hoop depths,..But after that it should work every time... For most users if you are on the same kit it should be fine.. But of you move around to different kits alot,, I wouldn't expect it to work without some tweaking..

*review mode on*

a week ago i got the perfect balance pedal and it's quiet different than what i expected.

to be honest i didn't liked the factory settings at all, so my first impression was *woow*
while unboxing the pedal and *WTF* while playing it the first time.

after about 30 minutes of trying different settings, i found something that i felt comfortable
with and started to enjoy the playability and the feel of it.

it so much easier to play, you get a good control over volume and speed but it
take so much less effort to play on it. i guess the biggest part of the feel is the
slightly longer footboard which gives you more power while reducing the motion
of the foot.

i'm pretty sure this pedal is not for everybody, especially if you like a heavier feeling
pedal. it's so smooth and feels like it's invisible under your foot.

over all i'm really happy with it. we'll see how I think in a couple of weeks.

:)

Tried it Friday.

Liked it a lot. It sat on a new Ludwig bass drum which sounded great. Also helped, I think.
Reminded me of older pedals like speed king and similarly simple pedals, which is not surprising
when you know how the new pedal came about. It was priced at $295,-.

I have an Eliminator, so I'm not on the lookout, but if I were, I'd consider Jojo's pedal for sure.

I need something that packs up better in my hdware case. This fits the bill but I will have to see. I like the feel of a heavier pedal since my gorilla foot has been used to heavy pedals.

...just stumbled upon this review while looking for new Jojo clips.
To those who purchased the pedal...do you have the same issue? >>>

yeah, i had the exact same thing goin' on with my pedal.
sonor told me to send it back, they fix it or replace it.

the european custom service is top notch, nothing to
complain about, fast, helpful, and they have nearly
anything that you might need, even from older series
that are discontinued.

I wonder if some nylon spacers would be a quick fix for the noisyness.
