I thought the tone, attack, and roundness was quite nice coming from the toms. The Short-Stacks had kind of a tonal, slightly wet, slappy, round sound. The bass drum definitely had some sort of reverb on it. Thomas played great on this. I have no prior Lang watching experience before this-absolutely 0-so, it's funny that I sometimes get an old-school "Heads Up" era, Weckl thing from some of his flurries. I listened to this in my Pathfinder with the Bose system cranked and it sounded 10 thousand times better than what came out of my Mac at home. The ringing tom wasn't really there in my car. Excellent vid. Fun.

Wow, gnarly, but interesting. He is still playing the same.

He talked about not feeling things with his fingertips, I have a bit of that.

I believe you can avoid CTS with exercise, warming up and moeller. I guess if you have it, it's not going away...

I wonder what it feels like for him to play now.
