It shouldn't have been written in 4/4 with all the polyrhythms. It should be written in 5/4, or 10/8.

Sure, that a valid point, even though Virgil often makes a point out of having 4/4 being the backbone
even if he's exploring patterns in 5 all through a piece.

Anywho, I was referring to the patience of deciphering those bulky, jam-packed fills :)

Sort of feels like 4/4 with quintuplets in the beginning, but when the groove starts it's most definetly in 5. Phrasing is sort of in five which sort of explains it, but it's weird.

Probably just brainwashed by listening to too much Anika before he got started on that one. :lol:

Nice little push to it. Reminds me a bit of Mike and Anthony.
