"Why are we willing to pay for computers, iPods, smartphones, data plans, and high speed internet access but not the music itself?"

Why did the person who wrote the article write about willing to buy puters, mp3 players, data plans and internet connections? If your going to steal digital media you need a computer and some type of internet connection. Duh. You can steal those products also but stealing a computer of sorts is difficult. internet connections not so hard to piggy back off of.

"Why do we value the network and hardware that delivers music but not the music itself?"

Why do we value the hardware. Is this guy for real? Sounds like a dip shit to me. How is anyone one going to listen to music without hardware. This list includes, power source, speakers, mp3 player, computer, turn table, tape deck, receiver, all that shit. come on guy. software is the problem.

"Congratulations, your generation is the first generation in history to rebel by unsticking it to the man and instead sticking it to the weirdo freak musicians!"

someone is mad at things. software is easy to steal. you hit a few buttons and there it is. It's to tempting to most. it's like hitting the free button. well it is hitting the free button.
