Not a great performance by any means, but I do like this song.

I'll have a couple more videos up there soon.

Hey Paul,

the kit's beautiful!! And that 24" Giant Beat ride sounds awesome!!

BTW, did you take the stock bottom heads and put them on the top on the toms?!?!?!

Congrats!

Yes!! 8-)

They're just clear ambassadors, but I like fresh heads on the bottom, so I put new ones on the bottom. After every two or three batter head changes, I take the resonant heads and put them on the batter side.

nice playing. i love the sound of your RC's. makes me wish for my ol' ones again. i love the 5 piece setup w/ the 2nd rack tom. i may have to do that again. i never liked how my 2nd rack tom made my ride be so high up but with the 18" kick, it seems i can get a reasonable playing height with them. thanks for posting the video.

I dunno dude, I thought it was a pretty great performance. Nice dynamics and you played the song not the drums. Speaking of the drums, they sound as good as they look. Cymbals sound good as well. Nice vid.

Thanks. The snare sounded a little choked, but I didn't have time to tweak it. I'm going to work on it today.

Here's another two from yesterday:

Good stuff Paul! Frisell-ian music, which is a style I love.
