Right on brother, the good thing is that Zach, Cliff, Gary found their own voice longtime ago, it's a real joy to hear them playing their thing.
I remember Zack on Leni Stern "Closer To The Light", he did some beautiful things, and with Wayne Krantz he was really savage too.

Looking at that video of him in '89..... I'm surprised he wasn't in Modern Drummer earlier, Weckl clone or not.
I didn't hear about him until '95 when I was taking lessons from Wes Little in Raleigh, and he said, "Check out this guy.... Weckl says he's the next great one"

Can’t recommend the course enough - and it’s free! It’s ridiculous this kind of info is at our fingertips with someone like Zach breaking down his process… and yes I am pretty obsessed with Zach’s playing and need to do some more transcribing in that regard!
