A very sad story...

Postby Rodge » Thu Nov 29, 2012 3:31 pm

I went to read that the great Calvin Rodgers was robbed and beatn at gunpoint last night in front of his pregnant wife, and they broke both of his arms.

As tragic as this is, something about it makes me suspicious. a drummer gets both of his arms broken in front of his family. sounds like organized crime to me. Perhaps he was into something he shouldn't have been...?

I thought kind of the same thing, like they did it on purpose...
I don't want to go in that direction though, so sad...

Calvin has been tweeting. Only ONE of his arms is broken and it's a nasty fracture, he's expected to make a full recovery. This was just a straightforward robbery, nothing more sinister.

He's one of my favourite drummers and I found out about him thru Gaddabout and HOD, I've also become a big fan of Fred Hammond. But even if I wasn't I'd still be praying for a full recovery.

Thanks for more accurate information Bored At work, I was giving information from Lil' John Roberts.

That's some better news anyway, good.
