I searched for an app the other day but then realized none was needed. Here's what I set up:
-Go to this site http://rudimentalritual.tripod.com/
-Save each page as an image to your photo album
-Create new album out of just these images
...and then bam you have the sheet music stashed on your device in a way you can flip through it easily.
I have this saved on my iphone... great when traveling.

Great! Now no one has to support that pesky John Ramsay or honor the legacy of Alan Dawson, they can just steal the pages straight from this site.

Stealing? What? Taking pictures of web pages is kind of old news. Snapping pictures of web pages is now taking away the honor and legacy of people? How is taking a picture or saving a web page to a hard drive ripping away Alan Dawson's legacy? You might as well go after copiers. I'm sure there are quite a few people who made copies of certain pages of books, magazines, drum books you name it. Before copiers people used to hand write it down. It's been going on forever. It's just way easy to do it now. On an iPhone/iPad you hold down the power / home button and takes pictures of what every is on the screen. Who said John Ramsey is pesky?

Re: Rudimental Ritual for iPhone/iPad
I guess John Ramsay is pesky because he wrote a book based on informations he gleaned from lessons he paid for and put the time in to write the shit down and find a publisher and try to make just a little bit of money off his efforts and explanations of said information. But, to your point, yeah... play a samba bass drum groove and play through the rudiments. There ya go.
Maybe Alan Dawson's family gets a few shekels from sales as well, but whatever, I suppose. It's nearly impossible to make a living from this business nowadays. To say absolutely nothing, it is what it is.

Moderation's all well and good, just don't overdo it.

The "web pages" here are scans of the book. I'm not actually flipping my lid, just another example of the world we live in ... it's tough to hear folks argue about how hard it is to make a living as a musician and then throw links like these around (not saying the OP did in this case).

I hope that the ass-wipe that made that stuff available on that website loses whatever job he has and has to sleep under bridges and pan handle for the rest of his life.

Dude, every day I am further blown away by how much greed and evil is allowed to grow. The latest is the U.S. Supreme Court: http://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/12 ... 3_19m1.pdf

As for that POS that made the book available, what's worse is the host of that web page (Lycos) who basically encourages that sort of behavior by turning a blind eye towards it, and then profiting from ads placed right alongside the illegally acquired/displayed content.

Such things respond to ignorance to me, not evil or greed (posting some scanned pages of a book)... It´s possible that he or she didn´t think about it that much before doing it. Actually I used to download music when I was younger. Just because I didn´t spend some time thinking about it.
Maybe sending an email to the guy is better than spreading curses on a forum. I don´t know.
On the other hand, there seems to be guys and corporations determined to destroy the world as we know it. Those are the guys that should be living as pariahs, not a teen with internet access...
