I was thinking the other day how rimshots and off center hits are our string bends and inflections.

Who wants to hit dead center all the ime, use some medolic thinking!

I hear you Langmick. To be able to hit a rimshot anywhere at any time is more challenging than one thinks. That's why I did this video. And there are different positions to hit rimshots, which I did not go into in this video. Rimshots are like pinch squeals on guitar. Tuning of the drums also affect the rimshot action and results. Doing these exercises get you more intimate with your kit.
