For sale: aluminum die cast hoops - 14"

Postby Paul Marangoni » Sat Mar 01, 2014 9:43 am

I have two sets of Yamaha aluminum die cast hoops for a 14" snare drum with ten lugs (top and bottom). I have no need for them. Anyone interested? They were pretty pricey, but I'll let them go for $60 a pair.

I also have some Yamaha triple flange dyna hoops (the thicker ones) for 10", 12" and 14" (top and bottom). I'll let them all go for $100.

If anyone one wants everything, the die cast and the triple flange hoops, you can have it all for $200.

Everything is in decent condition. Used, but not abused.

Funny enough, someone from Japan wants both sets. Shipping to Japan is $75. Crazy...

Good for you :-] I think the Phoenix comes stock with alu hoops. I learned way back about these things trough Manu Katche. They have the rigidness of die-cast but they don't choke so much. Somewhere in between die-cast and triple flanged. The yammie's also are shorter then the Gretsch hoops, something I like for rimshots.
