Gregg has this interesting "inverse" time feel thing going on, IMO...

Maybe it's just me, but I'm still at a complete loss as to how he got on the Buddy Rich memorial... There you go, I said it.

Why? Neil was also part of the batch... It was also about bringing a couple of high exposure drummers to pay homage to Buddy.

btw, I was listening to Burning for Buddy the other day and Gadd just shines. Even more than Weck imo. Nice album overall.

Yes, it's just you. I guess you did not play with him in the 1 o'clock Lab band at North Texas State. Which, btw, is a very prestigious college big band. He then went on to play with Maynard Ferguson. Blah blah...

Gregg's resume speaks for itself. Btw, I personally thought Gregg was the one drummer who actually played the big band drummer style the best of all of them.

Oh I see, thanks for clearing that one up Jim Richman, I don't know what I was thinking.

That's weird, I never thought he didn't deserve to be there. I think he did a great job at the memorial.

Gregg Bissonette is a tremendous player and a great ambassador for the drumming community. My only objection is his penchant for sticking the blushda into every song! He's guilty on that count alone in my book!
