Ron Dunnet comment on Paul´s vid... "To be certain the most likely change you will see (or hear) is DW producing Gretsch shells for Gretsch..."
That´s what we all fear the most. If true, really bad news imho.

I don't question their construction methods per se, only their aesthetics choices in what shell construction sounds better.

"Fred and I worked very hard to buy back the Gretsch company from Baldwin 30 years ago. We worked very hard to build the Brand Identity this past 30 years. We are in control of the Gretsch drum brand. We will make sure the drums continue to be made to the Gretsch quality using same shells and parts. I assure you, our Gretsch drum friends. Will continue to be made in the S C factory with our same experienced staff."
