RIP Glenn Frey....

A true musical icon if there ever was one. Glad that I was fortunate enough to see the Eagles live about 5 years ago.

One of the originals, making life conform to his wishes.

Don Felder's autobiography is really interesting. It's a true look at how big acts work...of course, does that happen anymore.

What a week! This was a California band top to bottom.

How does a band become iconic? Have three top 40 hits
on your debut LP, record the next with two hits that will
become staples, third LP have another two top 40 hits and
a number one single. Then another three top ten singles.
If that wasn't enough, record your biggest selling LP with
32 million sales worldwide. Then, end the recording process
with another LP with three top ten singles.

That's INSANE!

The clock stops for all of us eventually and permanently. Sad to hear the news. When I read the news this tune plopped in my head.

Been playin' Eagles tunes all morning long :(
They're one of the big bands on the soundtrack of my life. I was also fortunate to see them live a few years ago and it's possibly one of the 5 best concerts I've ever attended. And that's saying a lot.
