Your desert island snare...

Postby Julián Fernández » Tue Sep 06, 2016 8:20 pm

Sophie's Choice... You´re gonna stick with one snare till your career´s end ditching all the others... What would it be?

I´m gonna say my old and trusty ´79 Supra. It´s freaking light (I value the weight of my gear more each day it passes), sounds great, super reliable, easy to tune and looks classy.

What´s HOD favorite snare?

Yeah either the Supraphonic or Acrolite for sure. 5x14

The Acrolite looks so bad but sounds so good. Plus it weighs nothing. Probably my favorite snare.

It's either the Gretsch Colaiuta or old Hammered Brass.

Which one?

Depends on the acoustics of the desert isaland.

Not trying to damp the GAS stoke, but snare drums are so worshipped on drum forums it's pretty silly.

Perhaps, but not sure I can see any harm.

I'm pretty sure no little girl's puppy died because of this thread being started.
