iPad mounts

I thought I'd ask everyone about their favourite iPad mounts.
For the car I've sort of come to the conclusion that it's easier to make one myself.
On the drumkit however, i think I'm looking for something simple I can attach to the hi-hat stand and have the pad on either side. Either between the hats and the first rack tom or just behind the left snare.

I just use an extra snare stand. It is attached to a short Gibraltar rack where I also have a Roland TM-2 and a Roland trigger pad.

Sounds a little heavy and impractical to me.
Hard to find alternatives domestically that even fit a regular 10 or 12.
Anyway.
The idea is to just sneak it inbetween my hats and first rack. Also something to attach it to a snare stand so I can have it directly in front of my practice pad is also desired.

I just use a music stand to the left of my hi hat. Almost all of my fakebooks are in iBooks as well, so it kind of suits the purpose.
I tried the DW iPad mount (which I think is now discontinued) and it was sort of handy to be able to put it on a cymbal arm, but I came to the conclusion that it was just in my way no matter where I tried to put it. That mount also didn't really support newer generation iPads, so it was useless after I upgraded mine.

I used the top of the flat based DW snare stands, so it is pretty lightweight. I used the little side rack connected to my left side cymbal stand. It got the stand up higher and to the left of my hi-hat cymbals. I can also use that side rack for an extra snare or the trigger pad. I tend to play 4 hour cover band gigs, so the extra weight is not bad for me compared to the convenience of having it in the same place every gig.

I guess designs similar to this is what I'm looking for.
